WHAT IS MOPS?
Lake Norman Baptist Church is excited to host MOPS for mothers in the community. We provide a welcoming environment for mothers to meet, connect and encourage one another through the journey of motherhood. We will learn from our Mentor Moms and from each other as we learn how to follow Jesus in our mothering journey. During our meetings we have speakers, discussion topics and fun activities. We also get together for playdates and Moms Night Out.
WHO ARE MOPS KIDS?
MOPS KIDS are our children. While moms are enjoying a morning of refreshment, children are being cared for in a loving, Christ-centered environment called MOPS KIDS. They are divided into age-appropriate groups and are involved in planned activities such as games, Bible stories, crafts, music, and physical play. All of our MOPS KIDS workers have been carefully screened by both LNBC MOPS Leaders and LNBC Staff.
WHAT IS THE COST?
MOPS INTERNATIONAL MEMBERSHIP >>
Join MOPS involves two steps. The first step is to become a member of MOPS International. This annual membership fee will help further the mission of MOPS in the United States and around the world. Moms will receive a magazine, weekly text, online resources and a free gift directly from MOPS International.
LNBC CHAPTER DUES >>
Chapter dues are $50 for the Fall semester and $50 for the Spring semester. These dues help cover our childcare costs, speakers, creative activities and other meeting expenses.
