Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Brothers and sisters, if someone is overtaken in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual, restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so that you also won’t be tempted.  Carry one another’s burdens; in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.  Galatians 6:1

The role of an LNBC counselor is to provide Christ-centered in-person lay counseling to individuals in our church and our community who are seeking guidance and are struggling.  If you're interested in becoming an LNBC Counselor, set up a meeting with Pastor Darryl. We constantly look for people willing to use their gifts in support of others.

Becoming an LNBC counselor requires that you complete our Church Counseling Training (CCT) class. The CCT is designed to prepare individuals to apply to become lay counselors. Our counselors receive extensive training, ongoing supervision, and continuing education. Approval to become an LNBC lay counselor is at the sole discretion of Pastor Darryl and our Elder Council.
