Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Brothers and sisters, if someone is overtaken in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual, restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so that you also won’t be tempted.  Carry one another’s burdens; in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.  Galatians 6:1

LNBC’s Counseling Ministry seeks to unpack the hope of the gospel for those struggling to experience the abundance that life in Christ offers. Our focus is to provide a safe and caring environment for individuals in our church and community to discover Christ-centered answers to personal struggles and relational challenges. Our Counselors have gone through extensive biblically-based counseling training and focus on continuing education. A crucial part of church counseling is to bring God’s truth, hope, and healing to situations of those who seek help.  LNBC’s Counseling Ministry considers it an honor to serve those in our church and community and looks forward to hearing from you.

The first step is to connect with our Counseling pastor, Steve Waters, who will talk with you and gather information to understand your needs and to determine the best counseling route. Recommendations will be given that include LNBC staff and affiliate counselors. There is no cost for LNBC counseling.

Occasionally, clients are referred to outside therapists/counselors, which are only made to Licensed Christian Therapists whose objectives are consistent with LNBC. Once referred, clients are responsible for all fees associated with their care.
